Battle for Blocktopia!

How to play (tutorial currently broken lol):

wasd to move, tab to airdash or run, right click and drag to move camera, shift to lock character to camera's orientation.

each character has attacks corresponding to these inputs:

z, x, rz, fz, vz, rx, dx, vx

and has specials corresponding to these:

1, 2, r1, f1, r2, f2

and supers (which take 50% of your meter) by doing v1 and v2.

c to parry, vc to grab, rc to do a fancy parry that parries grabs but not normal attacks, fc to do a burst.

pushing c during a move lets you cancel it, and pushing it while being comboed does the burst. if you dont have the meter to do a burst, you do a pseudo-parry, which is like a parry but no i frames and no damage prevention or anything you just get some meter if you line it up with the enemies attack, which will let you build up to burst

(you can rebind pretty much all of these buttons, except for i think the dash and camera movement stuff which i do plan to do sometime)

also, there is a HARD limit to the length of your combos (you can do each z attack twice and each x attack once (though there isn't a limit on special moves)) but it can be doubled via doing a counterhit (when you hit someone missing a move) (your attacks will do white star sfx instead of red ones). in addition, cancelling an attack with c resets the combo limiter. you can cancel any attack or damaging special move into any other move.

Battle 4 Blocktopia is a 3D multiplayer fighting game, mainly focusing on online play, with design exploring how 3D space can be used. A mouse and keyboard are required to play.

There are 10 unique characters, with their own movesets, animations, weapon, attacks, and supers. Fight in rooms of six with friends or strangers. Play Capture the flag, have a team deathmatch, or just a free for all brawl! Customize your character to be any color combination, and you have almost full customization for your controls!

Singlplayer content is in the works, including a story mode. Multiplayer content is "complete" except for all the bugfixs and balance and reworks and so on.

temporarily removed the tutorial (it was broken) and changed a few maps. also switched the ground dash for a run.
